It means Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone and sure foundation for our lives. Faith in him delivers us from the penalty and the power of sin. He gives us a righteous standing before God. He intercedes with God for us and pleads our case before him. He gives us bold and confident access by prayer to the throne of the Father in heaven. He is our Abundant Life. Our Hope for our future eternity rest solidly upon the sure foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
