Exodus 12:31-40 There are moments in life where it feels like God will not show up. I believe when the Israelites were going through a tough time in Egypt, they must have felt like the Lord had left them to suffer. So, they cried out to Him. But when the Lord responded to their cry, things got worse instead of getting better. Pharaoh dealt harshly with them and refused to let them go. God's people must have wondered what the Lord was going to do for Pharaoh to let them go. When we are tempted to give up, we should remind ourselves that our God is faithful in keeping His promise. The enemy may think that he is in control. But the Lord our God has never lost control because He does not leave His people.
