God opens the Book of Revelation by telling us that He wrote this book “to show His servants” (Rev. 1:1) things that we need to know about the future. Only followers of God and servants of Christ have the incredible insight for living that comes from knowing for sure, what will happen in the days, months, and years ahead.

When you read 1 Corinthians 10:20,21 I was reminded of when I belonged to the PCUSA and their ritualistic nonsense taken from Babylon; celebration of Ash Wednesday and lent (I'd always refused the ashes) not only them but Baptists have fallen into the nonessential ritualistic pit.

Even the Church is commanded, Be ye holy, for I am Holy.
We have certainly left our first love.
