The parable of the laborer's in the vineyard in Matthew 20:1-16 highlights for us the fact that in God's Kingdom, we are all equal.
The master pays the same wages to all the workers regardless of the time they have worked. The Lord wants us to know that it's not about what we do, but about what He does.
The Lord is teaching us through this parable, His grace levels the playing field for each one of us. This parable should encourage us to share the gospel with our friends and relatives, regardless of their age or lifestyle. This parable should motivate us to invite people to join God's Kingdom, where those who feel rejected can find love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
