Here for instance we see the women of Christ's inner circle, who were just as close to the Lord as the Apostles, who lived and traveled with him, who had the awesome privilege of sitting at His feet and hearing his teaching – including all those fuller explanations that he reserved for his closer companions, and yet they do not do the things the disciples did.
