No one has the right to claim to be the partaker of one of the blessings without evidencing that he or she is the heir of all the rest. This morning our focus is upon the second effectual blessing of the covenant, which is truly at its heart: that God is our God and we are His people. What an extraordinary privilege it is to be counted among that blessed number! We explore this grace under two headings: 1. We are bound to our God with unbreakable cords of eternal love. 2. We are bound to one another with unbreakable cords of eternal love.
