In Acts Chapter 3 Peter and John go up to the Temple at the hour of prayer where they meet a man who had been cripple for over 40 years.
Here was a Lame man from birth who received a miracle that changed his life and this miracle and this man's testimony, gave Peter and John the opportunity to speak to numbers of people.
Peter spoke about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and thousands of people ended up being converted to Christ.
This man had absolutely no ability in himself to enter the place of worship back then unless there was a miracle. This man would be forever locked out of the Temple unless there was a miracle.
You know we can see some great spiritual truths when you study the MIRACLES in the Bible. In the days of the Apostles, God demonstrated His power to heal and do incredible things in a special way through the Apostles, to authenticate their ministry and message.
You and I can never enter Heaven unless there is a miracle because we are spiritually crippled.
In our natural state we cannot walk with God. In our natural sinful state we have no right to enter Heaven and we are completely unable to enter Heaven unless there is a miracle.
Before my conversion I could not walk right, before my conversion I could not talk right, before my conversion I could not love right, before my conversion I could not worship right but Jesus did a miracle for this spiritually crippled man when I understood the Gospel.
Now I can walk in the Spirit….. Is that your story?
