In 2 Kings 18 - We see have God raised up a godly king - King Hezekiah. Who with great zeal went about reforming Judah and the deluge of ungodliness that had engulfed the land.
Hezekiah faced near impossible odds against the King of Assyria. In this passage we really do see the danger of 'The Fear of Man".
This account can be likened to the intimidation & pull of the world upon a soul, with the much threatening words from the enemies to our souls. The aim of such intimidating words is to bring doubt in Gods Words and exalt man's words.
