Why was sex created & what about all the DNA mutations? 12. What about homosexuality & the gay lifestyle? 13. How do you overcome the fear of preaching the gospel & doing evangelism? 14. What about the death penalty in relation to Matthew 5:38-42 (turn the other cheek)?
Apologetics, simply put, is the defense of the Christian faith and message. We find the following instruction in 1 Peter 3:15, "but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." (1 Peter 3:15, ESV)
"Brothers and fathers, hear the defense that I now make before you." (Acts 22:1, ESV)
And when the governor had nodded to him to speak, Paul replied: "Knowing that for many years you have been a judge over this nation, I cheerfully make my defense." (Acts 24:10)
"It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you kin my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel." (Philippians 1:7, ESV)
