Many people have forgotten they have a soul in our image obsessed culture. Of course, our bodies need feeding and exercise, else they will become weak & unprofitable.
But, how much more so will our eternal souls suffer for ever if we do not prioritise the matters of eternity & Christ and exercise ourselves unto righteousness?
We must feed and exercise the exceedingly greater part of who we are. Our soul is the greatest asset God has given us, do not prioritise your body over your never dying soul.
1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
