For our Thanksgiving service, we consider the delight the Lord takes in us when we obey His commandments and walk as He walked. For the Christian, the love of delight, that the Lord has in them when they do the things which please God, is one of the great motivators to follow the Word of God by Christ's help. If we would know that Jesus rejoices in us when we do what pleases the Father, we would find that great spiritual help as we fight the good fight of faith against our flesh, the world, and the devil.
