The Bible was first divided into it's chapters in 1227 by Stephen Langton and around 1555 verse divisions began to appear. This is important because for today we will not be reading the last four words of this verse; the reason is simple, the verse as a whole is one of the scariest verses in all of scripture. We will be focusing our attention on the rest of the verse which describes what God is looking for. You may have heard it said that God doesn't need anyone but that is not true. He needs us to do the job we have been called to do (Luke 19:30-34). if He had need of an animal that He originally spoke into existence and didn't even make in His own image how much more does He need you? How much does God need a pastor in the local church, and one that will be true to his calling? With that in mind let us examine this verse.
