The Six things that characterized the early Church were: Preparation, Prayer, Power, Preaching, Persistence and Purity. Preparation: Jesus took time to prepare His disciples for their future ministry in the Church. Prayer: The early Church prayed and saw incredible answers to prayer. Power: The early Church were given miraculous power from God in the form of the Holy Spirit. Preaching: The early Church grew as the Word of God was preached. Persistent: Those in the early Church were persistent no matter the obstacles. Purity: Purity was the hallmark of the early Church. The earlier believers were light in a dark world.
This week I want to speak about the persistence of the early Church. The Early Church was a persistent Church.
The early Church was persistent in Prayer and the early Church was persistent in Preaching and the early Church was persistent in Proclamation .
